Sabbath School
At Kehilat Sar Shalom and Beth Yeshua

Studying G-d's word can be fun!

Torah Kid Talmidim

Every Sabbath we go to the service at Sar Shalom in St. Paul and my cousin, who lives in Duluth, goes to service at Beth Yeshua. I like to see my friends before the service starts, but when it does, then I sit with my mom and dad.

I listen to the prayers. I close my eyes say the shema. I sing along with the songs. When the Torah comes out of the ark we all stand up. We watch it get carried around everyone. When they open the Torah, we sit down to listen. After they put the Torah away we get to go to our classes.

My older brothers have a class for kids their own age. My friends and I have a class for our age. Our teachers are great. We play games and listen to stories. We study Torah and learn Hebrew words and letters. Sometimes we have a puppet show. Sometimes we learn new songs. But the best part is being with my friends. Torah friends are the best kind of friends!

Why don't you come to Sabbath School this Sabbath too?

Shabbat Shalom!
